Our senior Bible study group is reading Know What You Believe by Paul E. Little. It is a thorough treatise on our Christian faith. Many things have resonated, but this especially:
God the Father originates.
God the Son reveals.
God the Holy Spirit executes.
Creation comes from the Father, through the Son, by the Holy Spirit.
This is the best explanation of the Trinity I have read and
makes sense of my personal experiences. I pray to God the Father. Through my
dreams and visions Jesus reveals God’s love, care, and promises. The Holy Spirit
nudges me to act according to God’s will.
I’m awed, stunned to be in a close personal relationship with
The Creator of all things.
“What is man that you are mindful of him? or the son of man
that thou visit him? You have made him a little less than the angels, you have
crowned him with glory and honor.” Psalm 8:5 -6.
Dear Lord, I am overwhelmed but thankful you created me. I
vow to spend the rest of my life loving you in return. Amen.
